A Fantasy of Europa

Europa, the second large moon of Jupiter, is thought to have an ocean of liquid water beneath a crust of ice. Tidal stresses from Jupiter and its neighboring moons might sometimes split open this crust, briefly exposing the liquid water to the vacuum of space.
