The Leo Trio

The Leo Trio is a compact group of three prominent galaxies beneath the haunches of the Lion. From left to right they are NGC 3628, M65, and M66. They are a favorite imaging target, and also worth studying through the eyepiece of a good telescope beneath a dark sky.

This was made with my 92mm refractor from about 30 5-minute exposures using a ZWO ASI294MC Pro camera. My site was in the Mojave Desert with a Bortle Scale number of about 3.
